there is something about a college town on a saturday, especially when it doesn't stop snowing for hours. It's so peaceful and sleepy and no one accomplishes anything. We're all just lying around on our laptops. Who knows if I'll even shower today. (it's 5:17 pm) In other news I got a job as a counselor/craft specialist at Oakcrest Girls camp in Kamas, UT for the summer, cut 12 inches of my hair off and am submitting my mission papers on May 5th.

(I've always wanted to chop my hair and donate it to Locks of Love and I finally did. I like it. A few thoughts to calm many people's concerns:

1. I don't really care that 'boys only like girls with long hair'. I don't want guys to like me for my hair anyway so that seemed like a really stupid reason for me NOT to cut my hair.

2. My long hair looked good when I actually did it, but come on... that was like once every other month or so. My dad even said, "you're hair looks short anyway because it's always pulled back." true story.

3. If I want it to, it'll grow back.)

(I'll post pictures maybe someday but it's just like weird to take pictures of myself and I also don't like asking other people to take pictures of me so self timer i guess...)

  1. And ADORABLE hair it is, too! I know how you feel about the whole, "this is awkward taking a picture of just me," but just do it! That way you can remember what it looked like and the rest of the world can see and enjoy it's gorgeousness too. :) Miss you!
p.s. SO excited about your job and papers to be submitted!! GAH! That's so awesome!!!
