I miss this baby boy.
I want to put the sprinkler under the tramp and jump for hours with my baby. I want to walk down to Rainbow Snow and get him a Tiger's Blood snow cone. I want to take him to the Zoo and the water park. I want to make little boats and float them down the stream and fill up a whole bunch of water balloons and have a fight. I wish more than anything that we could snuggle up in my big bed and fall asleep to a movie. I want to walk down to the library and read some tractor and truck books in the children's section! Summer doesn't feel like summer without baby Gabe.
The fam is coming to visit in 3 weeks! YAY! I cannot wait to show them this adorable town that I've fallen in love with.
Which brings me to the craziest thing yet: FIRE. About half of the town has been evacuated since Friday. It's hard to breathe because of the smoke and it looks like it's snowing because of the falling ash. It makes me sad to see my favorite little town covered in ash. But they've almost got it out! It looks like it's just smoldering for now and people are moving back into their homes soon.
