advice from the wise.

Today in my Human Development class we had 2 elderly couples come and answer some of our questions. My main question was what advice they had to offer to live a happy life. Here's what they had to say:

"Learn to solve problems instead of running away from them, life is all about problem solving."

"When you get a new wrinkle, smile and move on"

"Prepare yourself so that you can live on your own. We all want to get married and start a family but sometimes it doesn't happen! Prepare to be happy in your own life." (this lady was single until age 68 and has been married for 10 years)

"Don't judge others. That's just silly."

The other day my grandfather mentioned that one of my ancestors had settled Cedar City and that there was a statue of him on Main Street. So I showed him this photo:

"Yep, that's him." my grandpa said. 

Turns out this guy is my great great great grandfather, Henry Lunt. 

Small world, Henry, small world.
