I hope your 3-day weekend was as beautiful and rejuvenating as mine was. I did lots of shopping, laughing, eating, movie watching and cooking. (My five favorite things!)
I grabbed dinner with Chenoa, which I think was the highlight. It's hard for me to imagine my life without her. I never have to explain myself to or pretend I'm something I'm not when I'm with her.
My family celebrated Valentines day! Looking back, I've never blogged about our Valentine Day festivities... we have a good time. For dinner we always have cheese fondue and dip bread and pears and for dessert, chocolate fondue with angel food cake and strawberries. Then we give each other our little gifts/notes.
Lets talk about this movie for a minute:
I caught the first 10 minutes of it on an airplane over the summer and I was laughing so hard that I had a difficult time breathing. Also, I peed my pants (which is a little embarrassing when you're on a crowded airplane.) (guys I didn't really pee, I just had to crawl over 2 sleeping gentlemen to rush to that tiny little corner they call a 'bathroom'.) Anyway, I kept telling myself to rent it so I could watch the rest and I finally did! I watched it with my dad and we had some pretty good laughs, unfortunately, the first 10 minutes were the funniest. It's a little dirty (as most PG-13's are now) or, as my mom would say, "there was a little poop in the brownies" which ruins the entire thing. (needless to say she didn't watch it with us) But I liked it! There were some pretty great lines, some of which my dad and I have been repeating to each other then cracking up. The movie goes like this: hilarious then boring then hilarious. But the point is that all the boring was worth all the hilarious for me. Maybe not for you, but for me.
That's it. Have an excellent week!
