homecoming week.

i don't think this post will be overly exciting for anyone. I therefore give you permission to stop reading NOW. I really want to get this all typed so i can never EVER forget what happened last week. oh boy. here.it. goes.

Saturday September 25th
got to the school at 7:30 decorated, made posters, put red cellophane over the lights and made the school look excellent until 3:00. Then me and Chelsea went to go look for a dress for homecoming, i found a fairly cute one at Tj Maxx.

Monday September 27th
fairly easy day, we had to go to school early to finish up some decorations, a lunch time activity. Passed out 1000 balloons, most amazing sight ever, telling people that we wanted 1000 B.C. (brave count) at the game. musical rehearsal


Tuesday September 28th
another simple day, passed out mints telling people that they were 'mint' to be Braves.

Wednesday September 29th
This is when things got crazy. came early for assembly run through, right after school we set up for the pow wow, which took FOREVER!
then at six we ran up to get ready for the parade. everything went really well and i got to bash a car! (: i got home at 9:30...

Thursday September 30th
assembly run through, the real assembly my Chamber choir got to sing the national anthem, really cool.  some errands, back to school for sophomore football until 6. celtic bagpipe concert in Salt lake until 8:30. straight to school to PAINT THE FIELD! it was THE best part of my week. well.. it was up there. we painted giant BRAVES in each end zone and a huge brave thing in the middle. it was SO fun. we finished the end zones at 2:00 am and went to Denny's for... breakfast? me and Cade ate all you can eat pancakes. we could only eat 5... we went back to the field, wrapped up in our sleeping bags and slept until 7. 

Friday October 1st
we woke up, drove to Annie's covered in paint and lacking sleep. annie was making pancakes... i couldn't eat any. we went back to the field to finish painting. it was a really weird day. officers came and went, some went to parts of class, chamber choir came up to the field to see us, lots of people go running on the track to exercise, we saw a couple gym classes, the day care kids, i went home to shower, went to math, worked in Brave Cave, went to musical, went home, got a kiva, came back, set up for tailgate, FOOTBALL GAME! helicopter dropping off the the game and probably the lack of sleep caused me to have a breakdown and bawl. i was so happy, so tired, so pleased with how well everything had turned out, so proud of all the hard work and time i had put into the whole week. After the game (where we CRUSHED east) me and my cute dance group went to the hauted hollow in Ogden, we had SO much fun. my date was Joe maloy and we drove with CC and Nick flemming. such a blast. got home at 2:30 am.

Saturday October 2nd.
Had to be at the school at 7:30 AM. it was SOOO hard to wake up. gosh. but we decorated for the dance and took down the weekly decorations until 2:30 and listened to conference all the while. then Chelsea and i got our boutinear things and chelsea's dress from the little place where the chinese women add sleeves to it. then my mom took me to get shoes and acsessories, sucsess! then i got ready for the dance and looked smokin! (:

joe picked me up and we had a BBQ at Tingeys house, then went to the dance, waited in line for pictures, METT CADE'S CALIFORNIA GIRL! she's cute (: took pictures, then officer pictures (i love them. so much. they are the worlds most fun people) the DANCED! until 11:30 and then cleaned up and came home. wonderful week.
