i'm the mother.

is it normal for a 16 year old girl to go get pizza for dinner, take her brother to soccer, run another errand for her parents then get home, see the awful mess of a kitchen and sigh. then spend an hour cleaning it? THEN have her friends text her and tell her they're hanging out tonight? and she has to turn them down because. she's the mom.

i. think. not.

  3. Oh gracie! I feel you! The oldest child is a blessing and a curse, just think of it as getting practice for being a mom later on. You'll just be better prepared!

  4. oh darling, you are so amazing at what you do, sometimes it sucks being dependable because then people expect more from you. You will know so much more than others your age, but it's unfortunate that you aren't being carefree when it's your time to be so. Miss you!!
