daddy!

okay. you have to understand that for as long as i can remember, my dad hasn't had a job. like not a real one. really, my dad just does whatever he wants! but usually just buys houses and fixes them and sells them. just all by himself. this has worked for our family because... we get to see our dad a LOT. he's always around before and after school and on the weekends. in fact, i don't even know when he DOES work :) i love having my daddy here. the only reason i say this is because, lots of kids are used to having their dads home at exactly 6:48 every night and eating dinner and going to bed and having him be gone for work in the morning. which would mean it wouldn't be that big of a deal if their dad left on a "business" trip to europe and africa for three weeks. i, on the other hand, think it's weird to come home from school and have my dad NOT be home. it's been two days. i miss him.
