yesterday and today.

i have a feeling this is going to be a very long post. i just have so much i need to put down in writing. please feel free to skip through or just ignore it entirely. by the way... i know i put a lot of personal stuff/crap on here but to be honest with you, i don't personally know half the people that read this blog, and for those that i do know, i really don't mind you knowing... it's my journal and you just get to read it :) here it goes.
yesterday was... wednesday! i woke up at 8:30 to nolan pounding on the piano which is unfortunately placed directly above my bed, upstairs. so i got up. and cleaned my room. and hung out with my mom and Gabe. then ART AND SOUP!!! classic family tradition... okay art and soup is once a year in Salt Lake and all of Utah best artists gather to sell their art. as if that's not good enough... all of Utah's best restaurants come to sell their food! (mainly soup of you couldn't tell.)
so my parents and i go once a year during lunch. it's such a blast. I am always the youngest one there as it is basically attended my rich old people. so you pay $12 bucks so get in and you can eat as much as you want! the best soup was this wild mushroom yumminess from some cafe called Tin Angel.. never heard of it but quite amazing. Cakes de fluer was there as usual and their lemon and carrot cakes are still DIVINE. One of the best parts is the quick draw. this is when 10 or 12 artists have maybe an hour and a half to paint one piece of work. so you get to walk around and watch them paint. then there is an auction and all of the paintings are auctioned off and the money is donated to some hospital. fun fun stuff :)
then i went to work.
then did some laundry
and (inspired by katie) took my brothers swimming at the rec center. my brithers are so much fun! i love em to death :)
we all took 30 minute showers and came home and went to sleep.

today
i was late to early morning seminary. but i was there!
i love spanish
history was interesting
learning new songs in choir
didn't do so great on that math test
got to leave early from math so i went to hang out with Schwabee in photography.
ACT prep class. SO boring. it better help me get a good score...
work for an hour
home, pick up Nolan, go to piano, see Connor asking Ali :) drop nolan off back at home, fashion show. Katies hard work totally paid off.
Up to see baseball boy.
you see, he got his car.
this meeting was a different one. i called him when i got to his house, he came out and got in his car. he is not 16 for another four months, you have to understand. and the car has no plates or registration.
i got in the front seat and asked him how baseball went. "good." he said and looked at me, smiling. "what!?" why was he looking at me like that!? "good." he said. :) we drove around the block in silence. i couldn't help but think how bizarre it was. we usually never shut up when we're around each other, it's non-stop chitter chatter, always yapping and laughing. not now. silence. it wasn't like uncomfortable. there's no way to BE uncomfortable around our best friend. but it was odd. i thought of all the hard work he had put into buying this car. he earned $2500 all by himself. he's 15 and already has the most incredible work ethic. he wore his baseball uniform. i've told him before, nothing is hotter then a guy is a baseball uniform. ugh i hate sounding like the typical teenage girl... but we're nothing, really. i wish we were more, but we're nothing but best friends :)
