well... my mommy didn't get around to writing a christmas card so i decided to write my own :)
GRACE- is 16 and a junior in high school. She loves driving and hanging out with her friends. She works at a day care after school an LOVES it!! Known for her love of the movies Nacho Libre and Hot Rod. Loves reading and listening to music, can't keep her room clean EVER! Has picked up on photography (and become slightly obsessed) always taking pictures, seems to constantly be dropping off and picking boys up... their second mother :) keeping BUSY!!
WALKER- is 14 and a freshman. loves snowboarding Super sweet, the funny man. He and Grace LOVE quoting dumb movies CONSTANTLY! The only person in the family who sleeps past 8. this kid could sleep FOREVER. great example to the younger boys.
NOLAN- 9!?!? THIRD GRADE!! where did the time go!!!? The boy once known as booger midget is now a big strong boy... still incredibly stubborn has somehow survived being the third child, loves tormenting Sacthel but can still be super sweet. constant rolling of the eyes... (can't figure out where he got THAT one from) His friends adore him!! doing some snowboarding with Walker.
SATCHEL- 6- first grade, favorite part of school is... lunch :) doing well with the whole reading thing, this kid is all about legos, (loved Lego Land this fall) playing with friends, riding bikes, watching t.v./ playing Wii, jumping on the tramp and wrestling. looking sharp in the new glasses!!
GABE/GABER/BABY GABE/GABESTER- nearly three, hates staying home when all the kids are at school. Runs our household. SO FUN!!! he makes us laugh so hard! Ultra-independent (I DO IT!!!!) it's all about the music for this little baby. has been caught "playing" the piano/drums/kazoos with a huge grin on his face. loves to sing and dance, always conducts the song for FHE, usually the ABC's or I am a child of God... also a MAJOR destroying angel, gets into EVERYTHING! and sometimes.. he's a little bratty :) we adore him, he's a spoiled little booger.
SALLY- 28, has developed some serious Tae kwon do skills over the last year. is SUPER good at it ans LOVES it! (we're pretty sure she'd rather be down at Kim's academy then at home with all the nut cases) incredible mommy, thank goodness we made it to the beach twice this year or she might have keeled over and DIED!!! this woman HATES the cold (and we still live here!?!?) her and daddy will be celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary just two days after Christmas! (wow how do they do it!?)
TODD- major hard worker, SOO funny (we think he's a keeper :) helps gracie with her photography, always wheeling and dealing!
This year our travels have been... interesting haha no seriously fun!! we drove to phoenix ( no biggie, thats only like 13 hours) to see the grandparents and aunt Karen and cousins. then, drove five more hours to Rocky Point, Mexico and had a blast at a beautiful resort on the beach complete with a water park!! Then over the summer- crazy mom drove us to Vegas to play with the Jacobs for a little bit- drive-in movies, toilet papering, all nighters and late night swims. then to see the grandparents at the barn/cabin in Nutrioso, AZ. SO fun! four wheeling for hours at a time, watching the herds of elk just hangin out. then back home (that was around 30 hours of driving, but wait, there's more) over our fall break, we took our pop up trailer and drove all the way down to San Diego!!! tons of fun just camping on the beach and hanging out as a fam. Daddy took the three younger boys to Lego Land for a day... thank you Daddy! walker and mom and i had a blast by ourselves :) on the way back we stopped by aunt Kim's again... thanks for letting us stay!!! ( that was... once again about 30 hours in the car.. this time WITH daddy) AS if that wasn't enough driving for us... the Knudsen Family reunion is coming up and guess what!? we get to drive down to Phoenix again... and then back home again... and can you believe it!!!? we still love each other. (most of the time:)
We've been blessed to be visited by friends and family this year, the Jacobs came to visit, as did Jack and Coog! so great to see you all! MERRY CHRISTMAS! we love you! God Bless,
